Successful four-color process work requires the printer to maintain a high degree of control over a long list of variables in the areas of prepress, press, and even sales and purchasing. SGIA Graphics Four-Color Process: Controlling the Variables Workshop
Successful four-color process work requires the printer to maintain a high degree of control over a long list of variables in the areas of prepress, press, and even sales and purchasing. Participants will discuss methods for gaining control over all aspects of the process with industry experts. This workshop makes extensive use of printed samples, practical densitometer exercises, and even live printing to teach students how to master the task of printing process color. Students are encouraged to bring in samples of their production problems for personalized help throughout the week.
